Welcome to Damn the Odds. Thanks for checking it out. This is day one of my new blog, so I want to take a few minutes to introduce myself and Damn the Odds. My name is Kristin Martell, and I’ll be the primary author (at least in the beginning) for Damn the Odds – stories about the improbable journey.
The first story I would like to share with you is mine. 2010 brought with it several life-changing events, which drove me to re-evaluate my life and ask some very tough questions. What is truly important in life? Am I happy? Where do I go from here? This profound questioning resulted in major revelation, and ultimately fueled my decision to make big changes in my life. The launch of Damn the Odds coincides with my recent move to LA and the beginning of a new chapter in my life, one which will undoubtedly be a challenging journey.
